Irma Elizabeth Entenman, 83, passed away on December 15, 2020 at the Center of Cordera
in Colorado Springs. She was born on December 20, 1936 in La Junta to Elmer and
Fleta (Maier) Higgins. She attended school in La Junta. She married the love of her life
George Larry Entenman on September 11, 1960.
She worked at Dr. Davis’s office. She was a cook for the school district. She and Larry owned
and operated a furniture store. She later owned a dog grooming business.
Irma enjoyed traveling with Larry, Louis and Lori to various destination and her crab dining.
Irma enjoyed playing bingo, card games, and her outings with the “girls”, card making and scrapbooking. She also was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Irma is survived by her children, Tracie Gruber (Stan England) and Doug (Rhonda) Entenman; grandchildren, Brock (Chelsia) Entenman, Brady (Allye) Entenman, Levi, Larami, and Lucas Gruber; great-grandchildren, Kayson, Braxton, Anthony, and Gaige Entenman; sister, Charolotte Winters; brother, Don (Margaret) Higgins; brother-in-law, Louis (Lori) Entenman; sister-in-law, Connie Higgins and Kelly Higgins; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larry, grandson, Brandon; and brothers, Leon, Butch and Larry Higgins.
A graveside service will be Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery with Reverend Mark Callister of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating.
