Kenneth William Campbell, 69, of La Junta passed away on June 2, 2020 at the Sangre de Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care in Pueblo. He was born on July 20, 1950 in Denver to Kenneth & Harriet (Kimble) Campbell.
Kenneth was raised in La Junta and was active in 4-H alongside his parents. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He began his career with the railroad as a Carman. He then drove trucks for several years, worked at the Boys Ranch, and then was a plow operator in the mountains. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed tinkering and building things as he was very good with his hands.
He is survived by his children, Tom Campbell, Michelle (Raymond) Gonzales of Swink and Donna (Todd) Ashton; grandchildren, Mark Eninias, Jacine Gonzales, Indica and Todd Ashton; numerous cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents.
