Marie Hall, 92, passed after a short illness in Pueblo, CO. She was born in La Junta to Lawrence and Della (Sumpter) Sears on Aug. 23, 1920. She attended La Junta schools and graduated from La Junta High School, Class of 1938. She married C. Robert "Bob" Hall in La Junta on March 23, 1941; he preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 1984.
Marie was an active member of the Beulah Methodist Church, PEO Chapter FW of Pueblo, Beulah Bells, and the Beulah Friday Bridge Bunch. Her pleasures were fishing and motor coaching with her husband, playing bridge, volunteering at the Pueblo VA Clinic, reading, cooking and hosting holiday dinners. Her passion was collecting antique Fiestaware.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Robin (Glen) Moritz of Pueblo and son, Jim (Rugena) Hall of Topeka, KS; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grand children. She was preceded in death by parents, Lawrence and Della Sears, husband Bob Hall, brothers, Floyd Sears and Edward Sears
A memorial service will be held on March 23, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Beulah Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Marie's name, to the Beulah Methodist Church, 5903 Pennsylvania Ave, Beulah, CO, 81023, or to the Pueblo Animal Shelter, 4600 Eagelridge Place, 81008.
