Norman Sorensen

Norman Sorensen, 78, of La Junta, Colorado passed away October 1, 2023 at the Bent County Healthcare Center in Las Animas, Colorado. Norman was born October 28, 1944 in Hugo, Colorado to Edward & Bertha (Ugland) Sorensen. He married Carolyn Rodarmel.

Norman graduated from Karvel High School in 1963. He attended Otero Junior College and the University of Southern Colorado. He was self-employed as a general contractor and rental property owner. Norman had many hobbies including; woodworking, hunting, and competitive target shooting.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sorensen of La Junta; daughter, Denise Sorensen of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Kayla Chambers of Denver, CO; brother, Jim Sorensen of Karvel, CO; brother-in-law; Jim Hilton of Karvel; and his beloved dog Toby. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his sister, Wanda Hilton.
