Abrielle Renea Raines

Abrielle Renea Raines, 4 months old, of La Junta passed away peacefully on July 23, 2013 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. She was born to Stetson Michael & Catherine Ellen (Leath) Raines on March 12, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

A precious gift from God shared for too short a time, she was a light in our world, her glow will remain all our years. 

She is survived by her parents, Stetson & Catherine Raines of the La Junta home; twin sister, Shea Ellen and sister, Kenzie Lee; grandparents, James (Melanie) Leath of Tyler, TX, Charlon Franklin of Tyler, Sophia Summers of Ordway, and Rick (Joy) Raines of Cisco, TX; great-grandparents, David (Carolyn) Raines of Eunice, NM, and Gretchen Leath of Tyler, TX; aunts and uncles, Skylar & Savannah Raines, Emily, Rebecca, Joanna, & Virginia Leath, Jasmine Hubbard, Douglas (Jessica) Franklin, and Kievan Franklin. She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Robert Leath and great-grandparents, Cotton & Linda Crudgington.

Those wishing to do so may make donations to the Stetson Raines Fund at the First National Bank of La Junta to offset medical expenses with the remainder to be donated to the SIDS research foundation.

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home and Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at the First Church of the Nazarene Church with Reverend Andy Albright officiating.
