Alice Adeline Stahlecker

Alice Adeline Stahlecker, 86, of Rocky Ford passed away on April 28, 2016 at the Crowley County Nursing Center in Ordway. She was born on April 12, 1930 in Kanarado, Kansas to Harry & Martha (Sellman) Runge.
 
She attended schools in Kanarado and graduated from Burlington High School. She was a mother of five children, maintained a busy household, she worked side by side with her husband in the family business and worked at various other jobs over the years. She was active in the Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday school, serving as Ladies Aide officer and working with the Walter League youth group, and serving on the state PTA council.
 
She is survived by her children,  Russel (Annette) Stahlecker of Thorton, CO; Dean (Karen) Stahlecker of Boise, ID; Albert (Diane) Stahlecker of Wheatridge, CO; Imogene (Rocky) Amrhein of Swink; daughter-in-law, Dilly Stahlecker of Lakin, KS; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ervin Stahlecker; son, Glenn Stahlecker; great-grandson, Zane Stahlecker; and her sister, Erma Boland.
  
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sangre De Cristo Hospice in Fowler direct or through the funeral home.

A memorial service will be Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rick Miller of the Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Rocky Ford Cemetery.
