Anthony Ray Grajeda, 45 died unexpectedly at St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo on February 4th, 2020.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Rosemary Grajeda of La Junta and his son Fabian (Jazmyn) Gutierrez and grandson, Israel Gutierrez of Pueblo, his sisters, Paula (Sebastian) Alvarez-Grajeda, Laura (Chance) Garcia, Delores “DeeDee” (Rudy) Hicks, his brothers, Stephen Grajeda all of Denver and Aurora and Kevin “KK” Keith of La Junta.
He is also survived by 10 nephews and nieces and 11 great nephews and nieces all of who loved their Uncle Tony.
He is preceded in death by his father Wadsworth Eugene Keith, his grandparents, Mariano and Carmen Grajeda and Maudene Wheat also his Great-Aunt Melodene “Nanny” Everette his Uncle Pete Grajeda and his cousins Patricia Madrid and Carlos Rodriguez and Frank Grajeda Jr.
Anthony was born on June 27th, 1974 in La Junta, Colorado to Rosemary Grajeda and Wadsworth “Kiechi” Keith. He attended schools in La Junta and received his GED from Otero Junior College. He was married to Jessica Gutierrez from La Junta from June 27th, 1998 to February 2008.
He lived in Pueblo most of his life and was a certified welder and worked at CF&I Steel Mill in Pueblo. He moved to Denver and worked for JD Steel in Denver Colorado. He was an Apprentice at Holland Welders and Great Western Erectors in Denver Colorado and was a member of the Local Union 847 of Welders.
Anthony loved to go fishing at San Isabel Lake and Deweese Lake. He loved his son Fabian and was very proud of his accomplishments. He was an avid Bronco’s fan and bled Orange and Blue. He also loved to cook and was always up for a BBQ and listening to music. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. His friends referred to him as “Antz” or “Grajeda” and he had such a great deep laugh that we will never forget. He was our little “Big” brother and will surely be missed. His ashes will be spread in San Isabel since that is a place where he loved to go and spend time and be at peace.
A viewing is scheduled for February 14th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and services will held on Saturday February 15th at 12:00 p.m. with a viewing prior to service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Peacock Memorial Chapel.
