Arlene Mae Lundahl

January 11, 1933 — June 14, 2014

Arlene Mae Lundahl, 81, of Swink passed away June 14, 2014 at Sangre de Cristo Hospice in Pueblo. She was born on January 11, 1933 in San Diego, California to Therman & Mabel Helen (Bjork) Burris. She married Bill "Red" Lundahl on March 30, 1952 in Ordway, Colorado.


Arlene is survived by her son Jay (Sandy) Lundahl of Pueblo; daughter, Sheryl L. (Mike) Cook of Pueblo West; grandchildren, Jason (Rebecca) Lundahl, Kimberly (Seth) Piro, Amy (James) McCoy, Erin Miller, Audrey Lundahl (Andrew Jones), April McManus, Jamie Cook; great-grandchildren, Jakob Lundahl, Thomas McCoy, Alice Lundahl, Avery Lundahl, and Joshua McCoy; her sister, Shirley (Edger) Dulaney, Surprise, Arizona; brother, Harlan (Marilyn) Burris of Las Vegas, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Jeffrey Cook, son Rodney Lundahl, brother Jerry Burris and sister Frances Guinn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Arlene’s name to Sangre de Cristo Hospice direct or through the funeral home.


Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.




Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pat Morrone officiating of the Radiant Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in La Junta.
