Arloine C. Wentworth, passed away September 16, 2017 in Fowler. She was born to Harve & Lena Williams in Oatville, KS. She was 3 months shy of her 101 birthday.
Preceded in death by her husband, Harry of 61 years, her parents, twin brother Arlo, three more brothers and two sisters, three grandsons and a son-in-law. Survived by five daughters, Carol (James) Harris, JoAnn Blunkall, Janice Spain, Charlene (Pat) Richardson, Brenda lgou and numerous nieces and nephews and family.
She was raised on a ranch in Kansas, moved to Colorado from California in 1947 to Holbrook Lake farm where they raised five daughters. She had 16 grandkids, 15 great and a great, great. In 1975 they moved to a new home in Swink. She was a homemaker, great mom and wife. She was free spirited, loved to dance to big band music, travel, had a great smile and always ready to try anything. She loved her family and friends. Arloine had a good long life. Her favorite saying was "whatever will be, will be”. She will be greatly missed.
A celebration of her life will be Thursday, September 21, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pat Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
