Audrey L. Keller

Audrey Louise Keller, 83, longtime resident of Ordway passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2014 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora. She was born on September 14, 1930 in La Junta to Roscoe & Nellie (Brand) Kenworthy.


Audrey worked at the Department of Human Services for 38 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Choir of Ordway and a member of the Red Hats. She also sang in the Sweet Adeline’s for over 25 years.


Audrey is survived by her children, Dennis Keller, Marlene (James) Crawford; grandchildren, Sara Crawford, Jimmy Crawford, Nathan Keller, and Breanna Keller; great-grandchild, Caleb Crawford; sisters, Marie Watts and Carol Eberhart. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.


Those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to the United Methodist of Ordway or to the Anschutz Medical Campus – University of Colorado (Neuro ICU unit) direct or through the funeral home.


Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.


Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist of Ordway with Pastor Ryan Trosper officiating. Interment will follow at the Ordway Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
