Bessie M. Fenter

Bessie “Betty” Fenter, 92, went home to be with her Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ on December 15, 2013, at the Arkansas Valley Regional
Nursing Care Center. She was born on August 23, 1921 in Cheyenne Wells,
Colorado to J.W & Minnie McFarland. She married Olin Fenter on October 30,
1940 in Las Animas; he preceded her in death on January 24, 1998.


 


Betty will be missed by her family; however, they are
celebrating her home coming with her Lord Jesus and know that they will see her
again.


 


She is survived by her sons, Darrel (Annette) Fenter of La
Junta, Ronnie (Linda) Fenter of La Junta; daughter, Janice (Weldon) Allen of
Grand Junction; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous
nieces and nephews also survive.  She was
preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers, and one sister.





In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the
Arkansas Valley Hospice, PO Box 408, La Junta, CO, 81050 direct or through the

Graveside services will be Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Ft. Lyon National Cemetery.
