Betty Butcher

Elizabeth Mary “Betty” Butcher, 91, passed away suddenly on November 23, 2013 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center. She was born on January 19, 1922 in La Junta, Colorado to Fredrick W. & Minnie K. (Banks) Randall. She was raised in La Junta and attended school in La Junta. Betty was a homemaker and mother raising seven children in La Junta.

She is survived by her sons, Stan (Cheryl) Butcher of Cheraw, Doug (Kate) Butcher of Tucson, Arizona, and LeRoy (Sharon) Butcher of Fowler; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and three great, great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lebert, sons, Lebert, Jr. and Darrell, daughters, Leora, Pamala and baby girl, and three brothers and two sisters.

As per Elizabeth’s request cremation has taken place and no memorial service at this time.
