Beverley Jean Vance

Beverley J. Vance, 81, passed away September 28, 2012 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Nursing Care Center. After years with Alzheimer's disease Beverley would want everyone to be at peace and remember her love.  

Beverley was born in Akron, Colorado on March 12, 1931 to S.B & Hazelle (Murray) Lewis. She moved to La Junta with her young family in 1959. She lived her life bringing heaven to earth and now is surely doing the same in heaven.

Beverley leaves her husband Leonard of 61 years; daughter, Meredith (Jerry) Bradfield; son, Mark (Sue) Vance; grandchildren, Brianne (Dave) MacRunnel, Jenna (Joel) Reeves, Mitch Vance and Andria Vance; and great-grandson, Callum Reeves.

A funeral service celebrating Beverley's life will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. M.J. Romano officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
