Bobby Cornelius

Funeral Service: Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, 2:00 p.m.
                             Place: First Southern Baptist Church in La Junta

Paul F. “Bobby” Cornelius, Jr., 84, passed away September 24, 2013 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born on March 3, 1929 in Levelland, Texas to Paul Franklin & Nina (King) Cornelius, Sr. He married Billie Moore on November 20, 1959 in Campana Ranch, Texas.

Bobby worked for AT&T for 41 years and retired in 1990. From 1990 – 2008 he was a church planner and pastor in Kansas, Colorado, and Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Billie of the Hasty home; son, Frank (Karen) Cornelius of Las Animas; grandsons, Christopher Cornelius of La Junta and Samuel Cornelius of Las Animas; sister, Della Jo Kite of Snohomish, WA; numerous nieces & nephews and friends also survive. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Colorado Missions Offering, C/O CBGC, 7393 South Alton Way, Centennial, CO, 80112 direct or through the funeral home. 

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.


Funeral services will be Friday, September 27, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church in La Junta with Reverend George Garner of Flagler, CO officiating.
