Brenda Kaye Iverson

Brenda Kaye Iverson, 66, is now singing with her mother in heaven. She passed at home on the morning of April 5, 2023 surrounded by the loving arms of her husband, Mark.

Brenda was born in Longview, Texas and was raised in Seattle, Washington. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Jean and is survived by her husband, Mark; brother, Keith and wife, Bronwyn; brother, Clinton and wife Norma; son, Jesse McDaniel; four grandchildren, Emma, Brianna, Nathan & Grace; numerous nieces, nephews, and her father Raymond Allen McDaniels; and her favorite cousins, Jackie and Ed.

Brenda was a lifelong Baptist and member of the First Baptist Church of Las Animas. Brenda loved to sing, making greeting cards, walking on the prairie and cooking. She loved her kitties and her family. Brenda will be remembered for her kind soul, zest for life and her love of God.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Las Animas with Pastor Steve Hicks officiating. Inurnment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Ft. Lyon National Cemetery.
