Carla Jean Gregory

Carla Jean Gregory, 64, passed away on April 22, 2017 at her Swink home. She was born on August 31, 1952 in Trinidad, Colorado to Bertha Struck, who preceded her in death.

She was raised in Trinidad and later moved to Branson, CO to live with Jim and Shirley Davis, where she met the love of her life Bill Gregory. They were married on June 6, 1970 in Trinchera, CO and they moved to Swink to begin their lives together. Carla loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a retired nurse who loved her patients unconditionally.

Carla is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bill Gregory of the Swink home; children, Shad Gregory of Swink and Tara (Danny) Moreland of Amarillo, TX; seven grandchildren, Randi (Darin) Mattson of Limon; Kaci (Jeff) Coble of Manchester, OH; Brooke Gregory of Rocky Ford; Domnick Gregory of Swink; Evyn Gregory of Limon; Lauryn & Ericka Moreland of Amarillo, TX; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; brother, Gilbert Struck of Denver; sister, Patricia (Jose) Lopez of Waukegan, II. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Frank and Richard Struck; sisters, Lucille Vigil and Henrietta Torres.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Valley Community Church in Rocky Ford with Pastors Kurt England and Joe Proctor officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 1207 Pueblo Blvd. Way, Pueblo, CO 81005 direct or through the funeral home.
