Carlos Apodaca, 28, passed away unexpectedly at his Rocky Ford home on January 20, 2020. He was born on February 23, 1991 to Anthony & Eva (Sanchez) Apodaca in Pueblo, Colorado. He married Paulina Baca on November 6, 2019 in Colorado Springs.
Carlos enjoyed his work as a floor installer. He enjoyed playing pool with his father, working on cars, playing sports and spending time with his kids, his nieces and nephews and family and friends. He enjoying taking his mother out in his truck and doing donuts. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it.
He is survived by his wife, Paulina of the Rocky Ford home; children, Marcos Apodaca, Angelo Vigil, Alissa Ramirez, McKayla Kiefer, MiReyna Saucedo; parents, Anthony (Eva) Apodaca of La Junta; siblings, Johnathan Apodaca of La Junta; Adam (Tianna) Apodaca of Rocky Ford; grandchildren, Mariana and Izaiyah Ramirez, Carson Kiefer; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Monday, January 27, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., both services will be at Our lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Henry Wertin officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rocky Ford Cemetery.
