Carlos Edward Lucero, 63, of La Junta passed away on July 9, 2019 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta. He was born on June 19, 1956 to Christobal & Mariana (Moreno) Lucero, Sr. in La Junta.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Peacock Memorial Chapel with Mark Fisher officiating. Military honors will be by the Rocky Ford Rifle Team, American Post #8.
