Cassandra Louise Aragon

Cassandra Louise Aragon, 40, passed away on August 4, 2015 at her Las Animas home with partner of 18 years Rose Muniz by her side.  She was born on September 30, 1974 to Ronald Raymond & Evelyn (Maes) Aragon in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
 
She was a homemaker most of her life, and took great pride in it.
 
She is survived by her children, Donielle (Joseph) Chavez, Diodra (Ollivia) Herrera, Hope Aragon; mother, Evelyn Aragon, brother, Michael Lopez, sisters, Victoria Aragon, Becky Visagara, Shirley Manzanares, Anna Baca, partner of 18 years, Rose Muniz, best friend, Debbie Muniz, grandmother, Modesta Griego, uncles, Albert (Cindy) Maes, Donald, Victor (Janet) Vigil, aunts, Edwina Mondragon and Dorthy  (Jhon) Bueno.
Cassandra’s pride and joy were her six grandchildren, LaReaah, Ryan, Alize, Steven, Veronikka, Estevan, nephews whom she loved dearly, Giovanni Lopez, Diego Jaramillo.

 

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Cemetery with Father Matthew Wertin officiating.
