Chad Aaron Brumit

Chad lived his first 11 years and his last 11 years in La Junta, CO. Between that time he lived in Oroville, CA being a happy son, brother, husband and dad.
For 20 years he was an USDA inspector in the rice industry. After relocating to Colorado he was a Ground Water Commissioner for the State of Colorado.
He was married to the love of his life, Ratena for 36 years. He will also be missed by his daughter, Aspen; son, Cole (Jade); parents, family; including four grandkids and friends.
He loved living in the country, fishing and hunting; especially with Cole.
In lieu of flowers an education fund has been set up at TBK Bank of La Junta for his two granddaughters that Ratena will continue to raise. Memorials may be sent directly to the TBK Bank, 310 E. 3rd Street, La Junta, CO, 81050 or to the Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home, 401 Raton Ave., La Junta.
