Christine Marie Beckett

Christine Marie Beckett, 51, of Ordway, left her friends and family to be with Jesus on September 1, 2020 at the Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo. She was born on September 30, 1968 in Rocky Ford to Phillip & Carolyn (Walker) Beckett.

Chris will be remembered for her willingness to always help people in need. She served as a dispatcher for the Rocky Ford Department of Public Safety. She served on the Crowley County Ambulance and the Crowley County Sheriff’s Office. Chris’s smile and laugh could light up a room, anyone who met her wasn’t just a friend they quickly became family.

Chris left behind her daughter, Nicole (Cody) Baylor of Ordway; mother, Carolyn Beckett of Ordway; siblings, Doug (Wanda) Beckett of Billings, MT; Kirk Beckett of Hemet, CA; Lori (Brad) Catlin of Bandon, OR; grandchildren, Josh & Ryker Baylor; nieces, Alyssa, Stephanie & Emily; great-nephews, Oliver, Cameron & Joey; great-nieces, Blakely & Kensley; special friend, Larry Gaskill and his daughter, Tiffany and her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Beckett; aunt, Eileen Beckett.

As per Christine’s request cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
