Clinton Ray Jones

Clinton Ray Jones, 55, passed away on March 10, 2017 at his La Junta home.
He was born on June 12, 1961, in La Junta to Raymond L. & Lyndal (Reed) Jones.

Clint graduated Kim high school. He enjoying playing golf, cooking and smoking meat. He was a very giving person and donated to the vets, St. Jude’s and schools. He enjoyed farming and driving tractors loved animals and his dog, Smuttly. He enjoyed spending time with his family and cooking for them.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Jones of Las Animas; grandson, Dakota Walker; mother, Lynn Jones of La Junta; sister, Raelynn Darnell of Arvada; brother, Justin Jones of La Junta; niece, Stephanie Darnell of Aurora, NE; nephew, Brock (Vanessa) Darnell of La Junta. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond L. Jones; sister-in-law, Harmonie Hilton-Jones; grandparents, Shirley (Veda) Jones and C.N. (Thelma) Reed.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Wayne Cathey officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. also at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
