Connie Moreno

Consuelo “Connie” Moreno, 83, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on April 19, 2014, at her Rocky Ford home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 26, 1930 in La Junta, Colorado to Jose Felix & Guadalupe (Terrazes) Rodriguez.


Connie’s was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rocky Ford. Her family was very important to her and she will be greatly missed.


She is survived by her daughter, Debra Jaramillo of Rocky Ford; granddaughters, Catrina & Courtney both of Rocky Ford; siblings, George Rodriguez of Rocky Ford; Maria Rodriguez, Juana Hernandez both of Colorado Springs; Refufio Rodriguez, Pabla Ramirez, Santiago Rodriguez all of La Junta; numerous nieces & nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, John Jaramillo, two brothers, Elefanso & Cipriano Rodriguez and sister, Josefa Rodriguez.


Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.



Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., at the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rocky Ford with Father Paul Ekeh officiating. Interment will follow at the Rocky Ford Cemetery.
