Cynthia Anne Patton

Cynthia Anne Patton, 75, of La Junta passed away on April 20, 2016 at the Rock Canyon Respiratory & Rehabilitation Center in Pueblo.  She was born on August 22, 1940 in Boston, MA to Mary DeLuca.
 
Cynthia was a women’s health nurse practitioner at Loma Vista Medical Center and Planned Parenthood. She attended school at the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing, Front Range Community College, MD Anderson Cancer Center for Nurse Colposcopists. She was nationally certified as a women’s health nurse practitioner and was a member of the southern Colorado AP/NP, and the Phi Theta Kappa member.
 
She is survived by her son, Scott Dean (Natalie) Patton of Englewood; grandchildren, Ryan Dean Patton of Illinois; Danielle Jo Patton of Englewood; step-grandchildren, Justin and Amber Sims of Aurora, CO; and one great-grandchild; adopted daughter, Mona Lundell of Lamar, CO; first cousins, George DeLuca and Angelo DeLuca of Denver; and numerous extended family in Rhode Island. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary DeLuca in 1990 and her son, Kim K. Patton in 1997.
