Dale E. Widener

April 25, 1938 — October 28, 2015

Dale Eugene Widener, 77, passed away on
October 28, 2015 at his Pueblo West home, surrounded by his family. He was born
on April 25, 1938 in Portales, New Mexico to William Elmer & Thelma Jewel
(Matlock) Widener. He married Evalyn Ruth Rich on September 3, 1972 in Cheraw,
Colorado.
 
Dale owned D.E. Widener  Truck Inc. for 24 years in
Wheatridge, CO. He was a craftsman in rebuilding cars and trucks from body work
to mechanical.
 
He is survived by
his wife, Evalyn Widener of the Pueblo West home; four sons, Perry Lee of
Arvada; Jeffery Dale of Echert, CO; Michael Edward of Seattle, WA; John Steven
(Julie) of Golden, CO; daughter, Karla Dee (Calvin) of Pueblo West, CO; seven
grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter,
Rene, brother, William, Nephew, Kyle Velasquez.
 
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday,
November 4, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Rocky Ford
Cemetery with Pastor DeEtta Goettel of La Junta United Methodist Church  officiating.
 
Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home and Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of
arrangements.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Rocky Ford Cemetery.
