David Louis Apodaca

David Louis Apodaca, 59, of La Junta passed away on May 4, 2016 at his mother’s residence in La Junta.  He was born on December 14, 1956 in La Junta to Louie N. & Jean (Muniz) Apodaca.
 
He is survived by his mother, Jean Apodaca of La Junta; sister, Louise (Michael Miller) Apodaca of La Junta; brother, Mark (Debra) Apodaca of La Mirada, CA; his niece, Cassie Apodaca and nephews, Joseph, Josh and Michael Apodaca; his children and grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Louie, and brothers, Stephen and Daniel Apodaca.
 
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the La Junta VA Post #9 direct or through funeral home.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, May 10,  2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Ft. Lyon National Cemetery in Ft. Lyon with military honors by the Rocky Ford Rifle Team, American Legion Post #8.
