Dorothy Mae Roberts

Dorothy M. Roberts, 84, of Pueblo, passed away on May 7, 2015 at the Heatherwood Village Assisted Living in Pueblo. She was born on May 14, 1930 in La Junta to M.G. & Nila (Stockton) Roberts.  
 
Dorothy graduated from La Junta High School with the Class of 1948 and was the female athlete of the year. She was a sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. She had a life of teaching to mankind.
 
She is survived by her sisters, Edna Roberts-Shoaf of Pueblo, Virginia Goodrich-Clark of Colorado Springs, Merle (Stanley) Goodrich-Loeffler of North Platte, Nebraska; nieces, Dawn Clark-Valentine, Sonya Loeffler; nephews, Bill Clark, Monte Shoaf, Will Shoaf, Andy Shoaf, Steve Loeffler, and Mike Loeffler; numerous great-nieces & great-nephews and a host of friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in La Junta with Bryan Shoaf officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday, May 11, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
