Eddie S. Jiminez

Eddie S. Jiminez, 69, of La Junta, passed away on Sept. 12, 2014 the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 18, 1945 in Rocky Ford to Eddie A. & M. Lucy (Carbajal) Jimenez. Eddie worked at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center for 42 years.
 
Eddie is survived by his sisters, Patricia Jacobs of Show Low, AZ, Annita (Mario) Ortiz of Denver and Bobbie Jiminez of Denver; nieces and nephews, Maria Lucero of Lakewood, CO, Richard Lucero of Denver, and Stephanie Jiminez of Phoenix, AZ; great-nieces, Alaynah Weichel and Aaliyah Lucero; and several additional nieces and nephews survive.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Viola Hernandez.

​Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m.  Both services will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Matthew Wertin officiating.  Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
