Elvis Eugene Blecha, 52, of Rocky Ford got his Angel Wings on January 26, 2023. He was born in Garden City, KS on July 17, 1970, to Victor and Linda (Chance) Beeson. At an early age, he was adopted by A.W. “Bill” Blecha.
Elvis graduated from La Junta High School class of 1988, attended Lamar Community College, transferred and graduated from Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, CO.
La Junta was his home. He worked for many area ranchers, feed yards and several local veterinaries. He loved all animals and the outdoors. Always willing to help, with a smile, anyone in need. He was an avid Broncos fan and he enjoyed watching KU Jayhawks.
Elvis is survived by his mother & stepfather, Linda (Winfield) Nagle; three brothers; Bradlee, Clifton and William “Willy” Blecha; stepbrother, Bill Short; close family and friend, Gavin (Katlyn) Borland and Becky Blecha; several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, LeRoy (Mary) Beeson, Floyd (Mary) Chance, Adolph (Mae) Blecha; fathers; Victor Beeson and A. W. “Bill” Blecha.
A Celebration of Elvis’s Life will be held at a later date.
