Erika Rennae Bryant

Erika Rennae Bryant, 26, passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2017 at her Westminster home. She was born on January 23, 1991 in La Junta, Colorado to Patrick & Jaimi (Hunt) Bryant.

Erika graduated from Hugo High School in 2009. She was a very good basketball player; enjoyed the Denver Broncos; loved listening to music, drawing and painting. She was a very dedicated and hard worker. She was loved by everyone who met and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Jaimi (Darrell) Bogart of Flagler, CO; father, Patrick S. Bryant of Carson City, NV; grandmother, Barbra (Don) Hjelmstad of La Junta; grandfather, Jim Hunt of Pueblo; sisters, Katie (Paul Martinez, Jr.) Bryant of La Junta, Jessica Slape, Julie McDaniel, and brother D.J. Bogart all of Colorado Springs, & sister, Hilary Guinn of Nevada; aunt, Kay Place of La Junta; and cousins, Patty (Dave) Venem, Tanner Hunt, Ethan Hunt, and Mason Hunt. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents and her uncle, T.J. Hunt.

A memorial service will be Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Reverend Julie Britsch officiating.
