Florence Poulignot, 87, passed away at her Manzanola home on September 30, 2016. She was born on July 30, 1929 in Arnica, Missouri to Oris & Marion (York) Taylor. As a child, the family moved to Rocky Ford where Florence attended school, graduating in 1947. She married Rex Poulignot on April 4, 1948 and the family moved to Brush in 1951.

In 1985 Rex and Florence returned to the Arkansas Valley, making their home in Manzanola. They enjoyed volunteer work at McCurdy School in Espanola, NM, Rodeo Bible Camp in Hugo, CO, and their local church.
Florence is survived by her three daughters, Sue (Garry) Poulignot-Smith of Okeechobee, FL; Jean (Tom) Quello of Freeport, IL, and Kay (Greg) Hainer of Dodge City, KS; four grandchildren, Michael (Cynthia) Daughenbaugh, Peter Quello, Rachel and Kelsie Hainer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Ricky, Mike, and Steve and daughter, Ann Daughenbaugh.
