Frank D. Milenski

September 29, 1961 – September 14, 2015

Frank D. Milenski, 53 of Swink, passed away on September 14, 2015.  He was born on September 29, 1961 to Joe and Jane (Sims) Milenski in La Junta, Colorado.

Frank graduated from Rocky Ford High School
in 1979 and went on to earn his Associate’s Degree from Fort Lewis College in
1981. He then returned to the beloved family farm in the Swink area from
1981-1999.  He had two daughters, Holli and Heather, with his previous
wife Patti in 1984 and 1986, and he married Michelle Roe on April 30, 2011. Following the sale of the family
farm this same year, he began his career with Diamond A Farms, where he managed
their farmland throughout the Arkansas Valley.
Besides farming, the outdoors is where
Frank enjoyed spending most of his time.  He was a true outdoorsman at
heart, always ready for an adventurous getaway, motorcycle rides with his wife,
dropping a fishing line at his favorite spot, hitting the water for some jet
skiing and shooting.  Most of all, Frank adored spending time with his
loved ones and dear friends.  He was also a proud grandfather, and
received simple happiness in giving his precious grandkids tractor rides.
He is survived by his father, Joe
(Bonnie) Milenski of Guymon, OK; mother, Jane Milenski of Rocky Ford; his
loving wife, Michelle of the Swink home; daughters, Holli (Quinn) McElwee of
Timnath, CO; Heather (Matthew) Klein of Windsor, CO; grandchildren, Cece and
Lucy McElwee of Timnath, CO and Graicelyn and Cooper Klein of Windsor, CO;
step-sons, Bailey (Keely Geist) Rorick of Swink and Brandon Rorick of Swink;
sisters, Beth (Jim) Burns and Lisa Ramsey; life-long friend, Mike Bourget of La
Junta; previous wife, Patti (Rudolph) Young; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts,
and uncles also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank
& Eleanor Milenski; Dudley (Meroe) and Doris Sims, and brother-in-law,
Tabert Ramsey.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly requests donations be made to
