Gladys Marie Mcdonald

Gladys Marie “Rea” McDonald, 84, of Pueblo and formerly of La Junta passed away on March 12, 2017 at the Sharmar Village in Pueblo. She was born on April 25, 1932 to David & Ada Pearl (Kuhns) Cobb in La Junta, CO. Gladys married the love of her Charles “Ed” McDonald on November 18, 1950 in La Junta; he preceded her in death on August 23, 2014.

Rea's greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Mike McDonald of Nixa, MO; daughter, Gail (Charley) Harrington of Pueblo; granddaughters, Jackie (Fred) Baca Pueblo West; Nancy Baird of Costa Rica; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Teal & Dax Baca; sister, Carol (Clarence) Schleich of Pueblo West; brother, Roger Cobb of Reno, NV; sisters-in-law, Kay Rafferty and Mary Luton both of Pueblo. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

As per Rea’s request cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date.
