Gladys “Opal” Fellers was born in Vida, Missouri March 7, 1920 to Harlan and Mabel (Ragan) Roberts. She passed away on July 21, 2011, in Rocky Ford, and is now in Heaven.
She lived in Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Nebraska the majority of her life. When she was widowed in 1998,
She moved to Colorado and spent her final days here.
Mom liked to shop, play cards, fish and camp, tell jokes, and share her witticisms’. She embroidered and did elaborate hand work and enjoyed word search puzzles until her eyesight failed. She will especially be remembered just cuz. She was “Momma.”
She is preceded in death by her father, mother, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and husband (James McCully 1983, Jack Fellers 1998), 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She is survived by 6 children; Gladys Foster and family of Greeley, Co., Wanda Behm and family of Bailey, Co., Jim McCully and family of Kearney, Ne., Sandy Lytle and family of Swink, Co., Ken McCully and family of Denver, Co., Don McCully and family of Akron Iowa. 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
