Gloria Mondragon

Gloria Mondragon, 67 of La Junta, CO died Sunday August 23, 2015 at her home in La Junta Colorado surrounded by family and loved ones. Gloria was born in La Junta, to Santos and Lucy Mondragon on January 15,1948.


Miss. Mondragon is survived by her son, Lester Mondragon of La Junta; her grandchildren, Kelly Jackson of La Junta, Shawn Jackson of Pueblo, Heidi Mondragon of La Junta, and Desirea Mondragon of La Junta; along with seven great grandchildren; her eight surviving brothers, Egnacio Mondragon of Oklahoma, Adolfo Mondragon of Denver, Donald Mondragon of La Junta, Pablo Mondragon of Albuquerque, NM, Joseph Mondragon of Colorado Springs, Mark Mondragon of Albuquerque, Duane Mondragon of Pueblo, and David Mondragon of Kansas; one surviving sister, Delores Mondragon of Missouri, and numerous nieces and nephews.


Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.


Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the church. Interment will follow Fairview Cemetery.
