Harry Allen Westbrook, 74, passed away on August 13, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. He was born on February 15, 1948, in Colorado Springs to Franklin Earl & Frances Ellen (Ashlock) Westbrook.
He served in the Army for 21 years, from Vietnam to Dessert Storm. He received two purple hearts, a bronze star and Special Forces.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of the La Junta home; daughter, Carrie (Jonathan) Munson of Colorado Springs; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Joanie) Bogan of Hugon, KS; sisters, Margie (Tom) Tucker of Black Hawk, CO; Janice Baker of Casper, WY; Karen (Steve) Hein of Arvada; numerous nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Charles Turner; sister-in-law, Cindy (John) Vasco; two stepsons, Robert (Becca) Hunter and Brian Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin & Frances Westbrook; brother, Earl Westbrook; sister, Janet Swanson; son, Harry Westbrook and mother-in-law, Barbara Turner.
A graveside service will be Friday, August 19, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at Ft. Lyon National Cemetery in Ft. Lyon with military honors by the Rocky Ford Rifle Team, American Legion Post #8.
