Ilene Lucille Randle

Ilene Lucille Randle, 89, of La Junta, passed away in Pueblo on Nov. 27, 2012.  She was born on Dec. 20, 1922 to Arthur & Florence (Downing) Davis in Bent County, Colorado.  She married H. Winfrey Randle on Dec. 18, 1941 in Tribune, Kansas; he preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1991.

Ilene attended several rural grade schools in the Wiley/Lamar area and graduated from Wiley High School in May 1940.  She was a homemaker who raised her two children and cared for her husband but also found time to work outside the home in the Service Department of Montgomery Wards once her children matured.

She is survived by her son, Allen (Joan) Randle of Henderson, NV; grandsons, Michael (Nona) Randois of Los Angelas, CA and Steven (Erika) Randle of San Francisco, CA; great-grandchildren, Toby & Jude Randois and Lena & Luke Randle; sister, Dorothy Pinkerton of Pueblo, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Brian W. Randle, and five siblings, Leah Cook, Gertrude Williams, Norma Lou Gruber, Frank Davis and Edgar Davis.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ann Richards officiating.  Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
