Inez Olene Wagner

Inez Olene Wagner, 90, passed away Feb. 20, 2014 at her La Junta home. She was born on February 20, 1924, in Hattieville, Arkansas to Jonah Daniel & Rachel Elizabeth (Nowlin) Morris. She married Eugene L. Wagner on November 6, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas; he preceded her in death on November 24, 2005.


She owned and operated Crest Draperies in La Junta for many years.


She is survived by her children, Donald (Shannon) Wagner, Dan (Cheryl) Wagner, and Dee Ann Wagner of La Junta; grandson, Sgt. Matthew (Angie) Wagner; great-grandson, C.J. Wagner. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.


A graveside service was held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Cemetery in Hasty, Colorado with Rodger Harris officiating.
