James R. Mcdonald

James Richard McDonald, 54, of Cheraw, passed away on December 8, 2015 at the Bent
County Nursing Home. He was born on April 30 1961 in
La Junta to William Robert & Huldah Irene (Wright) McDonald. 
 
James was very proud of his military service of 13 years
in the United States Army from 1980 - 1993. He will be dearly missed by his
family and friends.
 
James is survived by his daughter, Elicia McDonald &
her daughters, Zariah and Janiya of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Anna McDonald of
Amarillo; siblings, Harold McDonald of Amarillo, Mike McDonald of Amarillo,
Darrell McDonald of Gourney, IL, Russell McDonald of Cheraw, Betty Hobbick of
Cheraw, Margaret Hogue of Amarillo, Sharon Wallace of La Junta, and Lynn Higashimura
of Terre Haute, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and
a sister.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec.
10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
at the Cheraw United
Methodist Church
with Robert Frazier, David Sloan and Reverend Susan Burley officiating. Interment
will follow at Ft. Lyon
National Cemetery.
