James W. Woodruff, 78, of Rocky Ford, CO passed away July 28 2024, in Rocky Ford. He was born on August 28, 1945 to Clifford Wiley & Betty Evelyn (Zimmerman) Woodruff in La Junta, CO

James pursued his education and attained an associate's degree from Otero College. Following his academic endeavors, he served his country with honor in the United States Navy. James worked as dedicated butcher in a grocery store the majority of his career. James a remarkable life filled with love, hard work, and loyalty.

James is survived by his wife Barbara J. Woodruff of the Rocky Ford home; children JoAnna (Alexander) Baehre of Kassel, Germany, and Betty Woodruff of Rocky Ford, CO; grandchildren, Benjamin Linus Baehre and Anna Marie Jean Baehre. James was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Wiley Woodruff & Betty Evelyn Woodruff, as well as an infant brother. His memory will forever be treasured by all who knew him.

James Wiley Woodruff will be remembered for his hard work, kindness towards others, and unwavering dedication to his family. May he rest in eternal peace knowing that he leaves behind a legacy of love and integrity that will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
