Jeanette Lynn Garner, 51, of Gilbert, Arizona departed this life on May 28, 2016 in La Junta, CO.  She was born on July 9, 1964 in La Junta, CO to James M. & Janet L. (Kancilia) Garner.
 
Jeanette graduated from La Junta High School in 1982, she then attended the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo, CO and graduated with a degree in Sports Medicine.
 
She loved volleyball; she would host volleyball camps and coached at Doherty High School in Colorado Springs, CO. She then went on to work in the Assisted Living and Healthcare field, upon her death she was the Nursing Care Institution Administrator and Assisted Living Facility Manager at Hacienda Grande in Scottsdale, AZ.
 
Jeanette is survived by her brother, James (Michelle) Garner and their children Luke and Thalia, of La Junta; aunts, Dorothy (Jack) West of Broomfield, CO and Pauline Conder of Walsenburg, CO; uncles, Stuart (Carol) Garner of Pueblo West, CO and John Snelson of La Junta, CO; cousins, Gaylene West of California, Tammy (Mike) Williams of Fort Collins, CO and William Garner of California; also survived by numerous loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James M. and Janet L. Garner, loving friend Susan Goad, uncles, Jim Conder and Anthony Kancilia and aunt, Nancy Snelson.
 
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Arkansas Valley Hospice, PO Box 408, La Junta, CO, 81050 direct or through the funeral home.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Paul Ekeh of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Rocky Ford officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in La Junta.
