John Edward Carver

John Edward Carver, 70, passed away on August 2, 2015 at his La Junta home. He was born to Leo M. & Mary A. (Brooks) Carver on April 6, 1945 in Lamar, Colorado.
 
He enjoying hunting, fishing, the outdoors, game shows, spending time with his family, playing pool, farming, gardening and spending time with his dogs. He will be missed dearly.
 
He is survived by his mother, Mary A. Carver; children, Michael (Mary) Chambers of Otis, Colorado; Kandi Pearsel of Florida; John Carver of Arizona; Julie (Austin) Fredericks of McClave, Colorado; John Edward Carver, Jr. of Lamar; Kathleen Holloway of La Junta; Shawn Good of Arizona; siblings, Raymond Carver of La Junta and Nancy Clark-Branch of Salida; 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo “Mike” Carver.

 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Reverend Rick Miller of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
