Johnny L. Rangel

Johnny
"Wolf" Rangel, 61, passed away on September 23, 2015 at his La Junta home. He was
born on March 22, 1954 in La Junta to Domingo & Sylvia (Raso) Rangel.
 
 



Johnny
was a diehard Denver Broncos fan. He was always smiling and loved with all he
had. He enjoying walking and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be missed
dearly by his family and friends and he will always watch over all us from
afar.


He is
survived by his son, John M. (Dominique Ulloa) Martinez of La Junta; daughters,
Christina (Paul “Punkie” Gonzalez) Martinez of La Junta; Yvonne Hernandez of
Greely, CO; brothers, Tony (Pauline) Rangel, Robert (Anita) Rangel, Anthony
(Dee) Rangel all of La Junta; sisters, Delfa Marinelarena of La Junta; Cruz
Rangel of La Junta; Betty (Karl) Grasmick of Pueblo; Sally Ortega of La Junta;
Veronica Terrazas of Pueblo and Sarah Rangel of La Junta; Stella (Federico)
Figueroa of Lamar; uncle, Manuel Raso of La Junta; cousin, Frank Gonzales;
eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces &
nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers,
George & Ben Rangel.

 
 
In
lieu of flowers those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to
charity of choice.
 

 

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 10 a.m., both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Matthew Wertin officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
