Judith Kay Miller

September 19, 1941 — April 26, 2022

Judith Kay Miller was born September 19, 1941, in Trinidad, Colorado to parents Leonard Benjamin SR and Irma Joyce (Flaiz) Hannebaum. She went home to be with the lord on April 26, 2022, at her home in La Junta, Colorado.

She was the cornerstone that kept the family together through her passion and love of cooking and baking for every holiday or celebration. She was very personal and remembered every special event in each of her family's lives and never missed recognizing these with a handwritten card, home baked goodies, or even a meal which was made with that extra dash of love. She attended school in Swink, Manzanola, and Rocky Ford, graduating in 1959 from Rocky Ford High School. She worked for over 33 years as a Pharmacy Technician. She was a welcome and warm smile to all of her patients she saw each and every day and knew who their family was and asked how they were doing with her caring spirit. She started with Loma Vista Pharmacy, transferred to Gibson’s Pharmacy and completed her career tenure with Safeway Pharmacy, with the last 9 years being certified as a Pharmacy Technician. She was instrumental in training several new employees. She was an avid bowler, bowling for about 25 years. She ended her reign with the state bowling championship alongside her teammates. She was an avid sports fan. She especially loved the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies and NASCAR Racing.
