Judy Jeanne Hart, 72, passed peacefully at her La Junta home on August 28, 2022. She was born on March 24, 1950, in La Junta to Harold Melvin & Blanche Lucille “Judy” (Downey) Fawcett.
Jeanne attended Seton High School in Pueblo and graduated in 1968. She helped with the family business, Fawcett Office Supply. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish.
Jeanne’s passions in life included her family, friends, dancing, gardening, and her dear departed Sparky. Jeanne was definitely a fan of the Arkansas Valley and enjoyed living her days in the La Junta community. Jeanne had the best memories of her time with her friends, and she was well-known for her part in many shenanigans.
She is survived by her children, Heather Hart of Colorado Springs; Jennifer (Richard) Priest of Pueblo; Magen (James) Cordova of La Junta; Jarett (Lindsey) Hart of La Junta; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Jeffrey (Jodine) Fawcett of Aurora. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael W. Hart, grandson, Jordan Munoz.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Joseph Matitu officiating.
