Julia Lorraine Ortiz

Julia Lorraine Ortiz, 63, passed away on January 3, 2015 at the Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo. She was born on August 16, 1951 in La Junta to Louis B. & Monica (Gonzales) Salazar.
 
Julia worked in banking for over 38 years. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
 
She is survived by her loving sons, Joel (Dawn) Ortiz of La Junta, Josh (Rebecca) Ortiz of St. Paul, Minnesota; grandchildren, Lucas and Isabella Ortiz; brother, Joe (Dolores) Encinias; sisters, Josie “Pepa” (Jake) Gonzales, and Louise (Bengie) Candelario all of La Junta; also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother & sister-in-law, Gilbert (Ann) Baldison, nephew, Steven Encinias; nieces, Jamie Just and Ashley Mora.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. and Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Matthew Wertin officiating. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
