Karen Ann Estep, 61, of Peralta, New Mexico passed away on August 26, 2018 at the Presbyterian Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She married Lonnie D. Estep on July 17, 1997 in La Junta, Colorado.
Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and children and grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, fishing and trolling for salmon. She also enjoyed music, animals, cooking, gardening, flowers, and hummingbirds. Listening to her wind chimes and her spinner that she had outdoors. She was an avid Denver Bronco fan and she had a passion for wolves. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Karen is survived by her husband, Lonnie of the family home in Peralta, N.M.; son, Levi (Sally) Dellinger of Rocky Ford; mother, Charlene Snyder of La Junta; sisters, Janice Whatley and Sylvia (Mike) Douglass all of La Junta; along with several nieces and nephews, and extended family. D’Lana & Maximus Montoya, who she loved like her own grandchildren; step-children, Laura Gabaldon of Belen, N.M.; Lonnie Dale (Rachel) Estep of Belen, N.M.; step-grandchildren, Joseph (Ashely) Gabaldon, Brian Gabaldon, Sebastian Estep, Derrick Estep, Logan Estep, Liam Estep; step-great-granddaughter, Addilynn Gabaldon. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Snyder; little brother; sister, Victoria Warren; brother, Gary Snyder and nieces, Ruthie Warren and Michelle Trujillo.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church with Ron Skorick officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.
