Kenneth Levi Hale

Kenneth Levi Hale, 64, of La Junta passed away in Woodward, Oklahoma on February 7, 2015. He was born on March 7, 1950 in Great Bend, Kansas to Bill L. & Geraldine E. (Ables) Hales. Kenneth married Patricia Kamby.


Kenneth worked on the railroad as a conductor for 38 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, playing pool, reading, and watching sports.


He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Albert Osburn, Adolph Villereal, Jake (Gail) Osburn, Tina (Albert) Rocha, John Osburn; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson; brothers, Henry (Lavonne) Hale of Satanta, KS; Jeff (Cathy) Hale of Scappoose, OR and Bill Hale of Oregon; step-sisters, Blenna (Robert) Hoenig and Bev (Rob) Wasinger.


In lieu of flowers those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to the Tulsa Oklahoma Cancer Treatment in Kenneth Hale’s name, 10109 East 79th Street, Tulsa, OK, 74133 direct or through the funeral home.


Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home and Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.


A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Ron Skorick of the First Christian Church officiating.
