Leola C. Fullerton

August 8, 1924 — January 25, 2014

Leola C. Fullerton, 89, of Ordway, passed away January 25, 2014 at the Crowley County Nursing Home Center. She was born on August 8, 1924 in Blaine, Maine to Calvin & Emily (Pamphrey) Cookson.


Leola moved to Colorado in 2004 from Connecticut. She loved sewing, quilting, painting, cooking, but her favorite thing to do was gardening. She enjoyed hot air balloons and adventurous activities.


She is survived by her son, Richard (Mary Alice) Pullen of Cameron, NC; daughter-in-laws, Marilyn Pullen of Branford, CT; Marie Bacon of Veazie, ME; grandchildren, Heather, Abigaile, Amanda, and Eric Pullen; four great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Thomas of Brentwood, NH; nieces, Monti (Bill) McCanless of Fowler, Charla (Lu) Graham of Texas, and Sheila King of Maine; nephews, Guy Green of MI, Richard Cookson of Florida, and Scott Thomas of MA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Albert E. Fullerton, two sons, Robert & Gerald Pullen.


As per Leola’s request cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at later date at the Sugar City Cemetery.
