Lorene Joy Rizzuto

April 25, 1932 — December 14, 2013

Lorene Joy Rizzuto, 81, of South Fork, CO, formerly of La
Junta, passed away on Dec.
14, 2013 at the Del Norte Hospital. She was born on April
25, 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri
to Ross & Alice (Ustick) Baker and raised by her mother and step-father, Melvin Baker.


 


Lorene worked at the Rocky Ford Radio Station, Rocky Ford
Co-Op, Wallace Oil, and the Arkansas Valley Co-Op.  She was a member of the Fine Arts League in
La Junta and loved playing bridge.  Lorene
never complained about her many health issues and made the best out of what she
was given. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. 


 


Lorene is survived by her husband, Lloyd of South Fork;
daughter, Jill Dellinger of La Junta; son, David (Jackie) Rizzuto of Tularosa,
New Mexico; family dog, Rosie; grandchildren, Jeremy, Amber, & Nathan
Dellinger of La Junta; great-grandchildren, Kari Ann Dellinger, Isabel &
Julius Palacio; and her sister, Barbara (Frank) Howell of Brighton, CO.  She was preceded in death by her parents.





Those wishing to do so may make memorial donations to a
charity of choice direct or through the funeral home.

Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.



Funeral service will be Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Doug Manley officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
